Program overview

Eligibility:

• Volunteers should be  enthusiastic, initiative taking and motivated to help needy people.
• You should speak English language but it is perfectly acceptable that English is your second language.
• Volunteers trained with skilled works and experienced in volunteering will be an added advantage.
• You should be of 18-60 age group.
• Both national and international volunteers eligible can apply.

Placement Duration:

          The duration of placement will vary from a week to 6 months. The duration depends upon volunteer's interest and the type of placement.

Costs:

        We are a non-profit organization who provides excellent in country support and also want to assure more of your money going directly to needy people. The cost for volunteering varies with the duration of placement.

• 1 week: $300
• 2 weeks: $450
• 3 weeks: $550
• 4 weeks: $650
• 8 weeks: $1000
• 12 weeks: $1300
• 16 weeks: $1500
• 20 weeks:$2000
• 24 weeks: $2500

Your fees include:

• food and accommodation,
• language classes,
• hiking and guided sightseeing, 
• airport pick and drop
• funding the placement organization, 
• Yoga and meditation facilities, and
• arranged local transportation to and from the placement.

• Vaccination and medicines
• Self expenses (beverages and entertainment)

Locations:

         At present, we provide placements in the Kathmandu Valley, Kavre (situated next to Kathmandu Valley) and Chitwan (situated in the southwestern part) in Nepal.

            Payment prior to arrival will not be accepted.
